The New York Giants continued their Salute to Service celebrations this month by hosting the Wounded Warrior Project at Quest Diagnostic Training Center. In honor of Veterans Day, 11 members were invited to watch practice and enjoy lunch in the cafeteria alongside Giants players and staff. The team was also joined by ASAP, the official mobile ordering partner of the Giants and MetLife Stadium, which provided each warrior in attendance with a $100 credit for ASAP delivery services. The Giants' corporate partner further supported the Salute to Service activation by gifting tickets for numerous other WWP members to attend an upcoming Giants game at MetLife Stadium.

The visit reflected the continuation of a long-standing relationship between the Wounded Warrior Project and the New York Football Giants. The WWP, founded in 2003, engages wounded veterans with programs that improve three facets of post-service life: mental health, career counseling and long-term rehabilitative care. The organization relies on family members and community partners like the New York Giants to ensure that veterans returning home are afforded the chance to be just as successful in civilian life.
The NFL-wide Salute to Service campaign aims to connect with service members, veterans and their families year-round as a way to express gratitude for their sacrifices. The NFL leverages a shared love of football to benefit our nation's heroes through improved physical and mental health as well as increased social connections. The league partners with numerous organizations, including the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF), Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF), Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivor (TAPS), United Service Organizations (USO) and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Since 2011, the NFL has generated over $58 million for these Salute to Service partners.
